What causes loss of pigmentation?
A decrease in pigmentation can occur around the nose, eyes, and mouth, especially during the winter months or in female dogs after heat or pregnancy. This discoloration is often linked to a mineral deficiency, particularly iodine and iron .
How can kelp powder help?
Seaweed is naturally rich in iodine, although some contain much more than others. Therefore, it is essential to use the right variety for optimal effect. We use Fucus vesiculosus , a seaweed high in minerals , including iodine and iron, to promote healthy and intense pigmentation.

How to use kelp powder?
Many owners choose to feed kelp powder from fall through spring to prevent pigment loss . To restore already impaired pigmentation, it is recommended to administer the product for at least one month . However, it may take two months or more for pigmentation to return completely.
If pigmentation is already diminished, some prefer to start with our elderberry and nettle extract to stimulate pigment regrowth, then move on to kelp powder to maintain it long-term.
